Ringo Starr was honored last night in Hollywood with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Beatles recieved their star in 1998.

At the event, where his star was placed right in front of the Capitol Records building, Ringo said, “It’s nice to look at a building that you helped pay for.”

Joe Walsh, who attended the event and is Ringo’s brother-in-law says, “He’s not just the greatest drummer in rock history — from the greatest band in rock history — he’s also the greatest guy I know and the most kind and helpful friend you could ever want.”
